These two "voodoo" skeleton dolls will be listed on [link] (eBay) Friday, October 21st at around 10 pm EST. These are two of my newest creations...they both have bend-able legs and come with four stick pins each.

oooh, i really like those. the painted skeleton adds a good drama. *sigh* they put the voodoo dolls i made once upon a time to shame.

I bet your dolls were awesome! What kind of art do you usually make? I'm really new to Deviant, so I'm still stumbling my way around the site.

I'm glad you liked them!

i make dolls, and jewelry, and pocketbooks and take lots of photos. when i'm really ambitious i quilt or try to draw.

if you want you can click on names or icons to get to other galleries. plus if you go on the front page you can go to browse and pick what type of gallery you want to look at. for instance, i wanted to see what else was in the plushie gallery, seeing as i'm in a hissy fit about dolls being under plushies. i think of plushies as cute and fuzzy... so i went to main page, browse, then under there went artisan crafts, textiles, plushies! (it's nowhere as complicated as it sounds!)

OH MY GOSH! I just clicked on your site and saw the "Night at the Opera" necklace. I LOVE it SO much!!

I know what you mean about dolls being listed under plushies. I was surprised by that myself when I uploaded photos into my gallery. When I think of "plushies" I picture teddy bears or little white bunnies!

thank you. if you want, what you can do once you're at a main page is look at the words on top and click gallery.

i wrote a note to voice my irritation and got a seriously snide response. *grr* at some point i might try to figure how to stage all my dolls in a protest march :D

Oh, I checked out more of your gallery and I LOVE your dolls! How often do you make them, and how big do they usually turn out? Have you ever sold any on eBay? They're SO boo-tiful! I want one! :)

thank you! let's see, i make them when the mood hits/when work doesn't get in the way. so i have swells of production and drop off. (plus i live with my parents, so i'll go back to dolls once my mother leaves off making me finish her jewelry projects!) they normally run about 16" i tried smaller and decided it wasn't for me. i have a 12" flipdoll that i'm determined i will finish one day, we'll see... i have not sold on ebay. i've staked money so many times on things that didn't pan out (eg, print account!) that i'm terrified of doing it again.

Hey! Sorry it took me SO long to write back to you. I've been SUPER busy this past month. (We're about to move into our first house together -- hubby and me) Anyway, I don't think you should be scared to sell on eBay. It's easy to set up a seller's account, and you can list for as little as 99 cents, depending on how much you start your doll out at. It might be worth a try sometime. You never know what might happen! Hope you are doing well.
